Red Deer and Snow
I have been photographing Red Deer for many years and this iconic species is one of my favourite subjects. Most of my work on Red Deer has been achieved at Bradgate Park during the annual rut. I wanted to capture images of them in winter conditions and one of the best places to do so is the Alvie estate in Scotland. The estate puts out food on a daily basis during the winter and is a fantastic experience watching the Deer move through the forest.
