Goldfinches Fighting
This image was taken in Scotland at Peter Cairns hide which is set up for garden birds. This is one of the best hides I have been to for photographing Goldfinches, not only is there good numbers of this beautiful bird coming but the background is superb as it is a distant hillside. This image happened so fast as when two squabbling birds come together it was difficult to see with the naked eye so I hit the motor drive on the camera and hoped for the best. Most of the images were out of focus but this one image was sharp.
